Goal
This seminar provides the necessary knowledge to administer Windows servers using Windows PowerShell and to automate administrative tasks. Participants learn to identify and create the required commands for specific tasks. Furthermore, they learn how to write scripts to handle advanced requirements such as automating recurring tasks and generating reports.
The seminar covers a wide range of Microsoft products, including Windows Server and clients, Exchange Server, SharePoint Server, SQL Server, and System Center. Windows Server (the common platform for all these products) serves as an example for the techniques taught.
Requirement
- Experience with Windows networking technologies and their implementation
- Experience with administration, maintenance and troubleshooting of Windows servers and clients
- No experience with scripting, programming, or Windows PowerShell is required.
