MDM stands for centralized management of mobile devices such as smartphones, PDAs, or tablet computers. Within the framework of Managed Endpoint Protection We have activated the necessary functionalities for you in your MEP. Everything you need for an immediate start with MDM is already integrated into your MEP. No additional costs!
Which functionalities are supported?
The list of features is very long. Here's a small preview of the three most important ones:
- Device security settings
Security is extremely important. Centrally manage critical security features and deploy them on a device-by-device or group basis.
- Anti-theft protection
Lock or unlock devices remotely, erase all data in case of loss or theft, and locate the device (if possible).
- Remote administration
Assign communication profiles, such as email data and WLAN network, to selected devices, or check and manage the software status.

What do I need to do to use MDM?
- Since our MDM is integrated into Endpoint Protection, you must first book the “Endpoint Protection” service – Service booking
- Purchase the appropriate license (e.g., Endpoint Protection Entry) from EGIS and select your end customer. We will set everything up for you and book the necessary licenses.
- Select in the MEP portal (eset.synaxon.de) under Quicklinks select “Add mobile device” and follow the wizard.
