Reminder: Patch management errors

We regret to inform you that although our manufacturer is working diligently on it, some difficulties with this functionality still persist.

Many of the problems have the same underlying cause. The manufacturer writes:

The errors are all interconnected. The primary cause is that the processor in the N-Sight backend cannot execute all the necessary processing steps quickly enough. In the case of the reboot problem, this means that the reboot flags sit in a queue for hours before being processed – hence the delayed reboot. Similarly, during patch scanning, these flags remain in a long queue and are then dropped.

We will update this newsfeed article as soon as we receive feedback from the manufacturer and full functionality has been restored.

Since the last patch management update from N-able, there have been difficulties with this functionality in Managed RMM.
