Mark Schröder is a trained wholesale and foreign trade merchant and studied economics at the University of Bielefeld, specializing in controlling, finance and taxes. After graduating with a degree in business administration in 2000, he joined SYNAXON in the Investor Relations department and supported the company’s capital market activities. After being responsible for overall commercial management from 2003 to 2007, Mark Schröder was appointed to the Management Board in 2007 at the age of 34. On January 1, 2025, he assumed the role of CEO and has been responsible for the iTeam, SYNAXON Services, einsnulleins, Finance, Internal IT and Staff divisions ever since.
Mark Schröder is a member of the IHK trade committee and the Wirtschaftsjunioren Lippe e. V. and is available on request as a speaker on various topics from the everyday life of entrepreneurs.
Miguel Rodriguez began his professional career with an apprenticeship as an IT systems administrator and joined SYNAXON’s sales department in 2003. From 2006 to 2009, he took on his first team leader positions in sales and business development management and at the same time completed a degree in business administration at the ILS Hamburg. After working as Deputy Purchasing Manager, he was appointed Managing Director of SYNAXON Projekt- und Handels GmbH in 2012 and was responsible for central goods trading, the optimization of decentralized trading processes and the marketing of SYNAXON’s core services in the areas of knowledge, networking and marketing. Miguel Rodriguez was appointed to the SYNAXON Management Board on January 1, 2025. In this role, he is responsible for the strategic development and operational management of the Purchasing, Central Trading, Sales and Marketing divisions. With his extensive expertise, he will shape the future of SYNAXON and secure its position as the leading IT group in Europe.
Frank Geise trained as an industrial clerk and then successfully completed his studies in business administration with a degree in business administration (FH). In 2003, he joined SYNAXON as assistant to the purchasing manager. Two years later, he took over responsibility for process management at SYNAXON and for the introduction, implementation and further development of the Six Sigma initiative. In this position, Frank Geise achieved certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt (2008) and Lean Office Master (2012). Since 2015, Frank Geise has headed the Staff department and is responsible for Business Excellence, Human Resources, Legal and Executive Board Assistance.
Jan Schwarzenberger worked as a project manager for strategy development, senior merchandiser, buyer and purchasing manager both nationally and internationally before taking up his position as Head of Purchasing and authorized signatory at SYNAXON in 2006. The business graduate is responsible for achieving optimum prices and conditions for SYNAXON partners and their product range. He is responsible for listing and supporting distributors, acquiring and negotiating manufacturers and all framework agreements. Since 2015, he has also been Managing Director of SYNAXON Projekt- und Handels GmbH and thus helps shape SYNAXON’s merchandise trading business.
Following his training in tax and business consultancy professions and two years of further training as a tax specialist, Dirk Tomasch joined SYNAXON in 2001. His work as an accountant focused on preparing financial statements in accordance with national (commercial and tax law) and international accounting standards (IFRS). In 2007, Dirk Tomasch finally took over the management of the finance department and was granted power of attorney. In this position, he is still responsible for national and international accounting, all controlling, central settlement, accounting and insurance, balance sheet preparation and all tax-related processes, as well as managing the employees in his department.
André Vogtschmidt completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk and then successfully graduated with a degree in business administration. In 2000, he joined SYNAXON (then still PC Spezialist Franchise AG) as a sales representative. Two years later, he took over responsibility for marketing the microtrend brand as well as for the introduction, implementation and further development of other services. From 2004 to 2019, he was Managing Director of the marketing cooperation emendo. André Vogtschmidt has been responsible for SYNAXON’s marketing department since mid-2019.
After successfully completing his degree in computer science, Dirk Stößel initially worked as a software developer before gaining his doctorate in applied computer science at the University of Bielefeld. In 2008, he joined SYNAXON as an IT project manager. In 2015, he took over the technical management of the IT department as Head of Department. Since 2018, he has been responsible for SYNAXON’s software development and the operation of the in-house infrastructure as Head of IT.
Markus Rex has been working in the IT industry since 1992. After studying materials science in Erlangen, he joined SYNAXON in fall 2020 after holding positions as Managing Director at SUSE Linux, at ownCloud and as Country Manager DACH at Datto. As Managing Director of SYNAXON Services GmbH, he is responsible for building up the SYNAXON Services division as a Master MSP. As a coach, advisor and board member, Markus is an active supporter of young companies and various start-ups.
After studying International Business Management, Nicole worked in various management positions in the IT industry for more than 20 years before joining SYNAXON in December 2023. Her focus was on partner programs, portfolio management and go-to-market strategies.
At SYNAXON, Nicole is responsible for all matters relating to the iTeam group. Together with her team, she ensures that the performance and value proposition of the premium brand is developed sustainably in order to offer our partners the greatest possible advantage of the IT contractor network.
After successfully completing his degree in computer science and business administration at the University of Paderborn, Frank Weber gained experience as a project and technical manager before joining SYNAXON as CTO in 2003. In this role, he managed the IT department of the AG until 2018. In 2013, he became Managing Director of the SYNAXON subsidiary einsnulleins. As one of the managing directors at einsnulleins GmbH, he is primarily responsible for the nationwide corporate client business, from acquisition to project coordination and employee scheduling.
