Collection of general data and information

When you access our website, your browser automatically transmits general data and information to our web server for technical reasons. This general data and information is stored in the server log files. The following data is recorded:

  • Web browser used (type and version)
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL, i.e. the last website visited
  • IP address of the accessing computer
  • Date and time of your visit to our website
  • which subordinate websites you have accessed
  • Amount of data sent
  • the amount of data transferred

We use this log data without allocation to your person or other profiling for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of our online offer, but also for anonymous recording of the number of visitors to our online offer as well as the scope and type of use of our online offer and our services.

 

The processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our online offering. The data will not be passed on or used in any other way. However, we reserve the right to check the server log files retrospectively if there are concrete indications of unlawful use.

Personal data

You can use our online offer without disclosing your identity and without providing personal data. If there is the possibility of providing personal data (e.g. name, e-mail address, telephone number) within our online offer, the provision of this data by you is expressly on a voluntary basis, e.g. as part of a registration or via the contact form. We only collect data about your location if you have allowed the collection of location data in your device settings. The data you provide voluntarily will only be stored and used by us for the purpose for which you have provided us with the data.

Duration of storage of personal data

The duration of the storage of personal data is determined by the respective statutory retention period. After this period has expired, the corresponding data is routinely deleted, provided that it is no longer required for the fulfillment or initiation of the contract and/or we have no legitimate interest in its continued storage.

 

If data must be deleted due to the exercise of intervention rights (e.g. when asserting a claim for deletion or revoking consent), the corresponding data will be deleted immediately.

Encryption

Your personal data is encrypted and transmitted to our servers via the Internet. We use SSL encryption (Secure Socket Layer) for data transmission.

Disclosure of personal data to third parties

We only use your personal data for the purpose for which you have provided it to us.

 

If we use external service providers in the course of providing our services, their access to the data is also exclusively for the purpose of providing the service. We take technical and organizational measures to ensure compliance with data protection regulations and also oblige our external service providers to do the same.

In any case, a valid e-mail address is required so that we know who sent the request and so that we can answer it. Further information can be provided voluntarily.

 

The data will be stored and used exclusively for the purpose of responding to your request or for contacting you and the associated technical administration.

 

Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a GDPR on the basis of your voluntarily given consent. If your contact is aimed at the conclusion of a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Your data will be deleted after your request has been processed, provided there are no legal obligations to retain it.

Google reCAPTCHA

To protect our contact form against unwanted use, we use the reCAPTCHA service from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). This is primarily used to distinguish whether an entry is made by a natural person or abusively by machine and automated processing. The service includes the sending of the IP address and any other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service to Google and is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR on the basis of your consent. Use of cookies

You can deactivate the storage of cookies or set your browser so that it notifies you as soon as cookies are sent. Web analysis

We use so-called tracking tools to analyze data traffic via our online offering. In this way, we learn, for example, which content of our online offering is particularly popular and at what times our online offering is used particularly intensively. The tools we use are described below.

This data is automatically deleted after 26 months.

 

Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide us with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

We use the lead generation service of Leadinfo B.V., Rotterdam, Netherlands. This recognizes visits from companies to our website based on IP addresses and shows us publicly available information, such as company names or addresses. In addition, Leadinfo sets two first-party cookies to evaluate user behavior on our website and processes domains from form submissions (e.g. “leadinfo.com”) to correlate IP addresses with companies and improve services. Data protection for applications and in the application process

Applicants can apply online via the job board on this website and upload their application documents. We collect and process the personal data of applicants for the application process. If an employment contract is concluded with us on the basis of the application, the data transmitted will be stored for the purpose of processing the employment relationship in compliance with the statutory provisions. If an employment contract is not concluded, the application documents will be deleted six months after receipt of the application, provided that no other legitimate interests on our part stand in the way of deletion. Other legitimate interest in this sense is, for example, a burden of proof in proceedings under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG). The legal basis for the storage of data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a and f GDPR.

Protection of minors

Children and young people under the age of 18 should not transmit any personal data to us without the consent of their parents or legal guardians. We do not specifically request personal data from children or young people, do not deliberately collect it and do not pass it on to third parties.

Security

We have taken extensive technical and operational security precautions to protect your data held by us against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction and access by unauthorized persons. Our security precautions are regularly reviewed and adapted to technological progress.

Rights of the data subject

The applicable data protection law grants you various rights with regard to the processing of your personal data.

If we process your personal data as part of a balancing of interests based on our overriding interest, you have the right to object to this processing at any time with effect for the future on grounds relating to your particular situation. If you exercise your right to object, we will stop processing the data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

 

If we process personal data for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such advertising. If you exercise your right to object, we will stop processing the data concerned for advertising purposes.

Right to revoke a given consent

You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data at any time with effect for the future. In the event of revocation, we will delete the data concerned immediately, unless further processing can be based on a legal basis for processing without consent. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
