We know that if we invest heavily in you, we'll get a lot back. Commitment, a love of challenges, and the joy of working in a dynamic team? That's what SYNAXON apprentices are made of.

SYNAXON trainees report on their training
Dual studies at SYNAXON mean:
The change between lecture hall and office
At your preferred location—Paderborn or Bielefeld—you will learn the theoretical foundations of your field during the three-month on-campus phases at the FHDW. Small groups and direct interaction with the lecturers ensure efficient learning and a personal environment. After each on-campus phase at the FHDW, you will deepen your new knowledge with us in the practical phase. You will gain a taste of selected specialist departments at SYNAXON, which will allow you to develop into a true expert in your field over the course of the three-year program.
This is what you bring with you as a dual student
The basic requirement for a dual study program with us is a (technical) high school diploma or completed vocational training. You also have technical understanding and an interest in current IT developments. Creativity and entrepreneurial thinking are also among your strengths. As a dual study student, you will work very independently in a fast-paced industry and impress with your active communication skills and independent work. Conversely, you can look forward to exciting and responsible work with us – the perfect balance to theory.

Internship
An internship offers you the ideal opportunity to get a taste of real work and SYNAXON life without any hassle or long lead times, and to complement your theoretical knowledge with practical experience. Whether it's part of your school career or your studies, we'll find the perfect placement for every interested and suitable internship candidate. We're flexible regarding the start and duration of your internship—and, of course, the content as well. Apply and share your interests and strengths with us—together we'll find an exciting area of responsibility for you.
Working student position
This is the best way to earn extra income, as it's the ideal preparation for your career start. We'll find the perfect opportunity for you, tailored to your personal time constraints and based on your knowledge, skills, and/or course content. Under certain circumstances and within specific areas of responsibility, working from home is also possible. It's still worth stopping by Schloß Holte regularly, as your colleagues and great employee benefits (like our fitness studio) await you!
Final theses
Before you complete your studies, you'll need to write your thesis. If you'd like, we can support you with your final thesis. We define our role as holistic. From exploring and selecting topics to providing active support during the preparation of your thesis through dedicated and experienced contacts, to fine-tuning your results and presenting them to our board – we're always at your side (although not entirely altruistically. We want to use your thesis to implement the findings and recommendations in SYNAXON practice).
