We are tackling climate change

From online search queries to office buildings and company cars – pretty much everything causes emissions and increases the greenhouse effect. We can't let this continue! Because as a company, it is our responsibility to actively address this and reduce our emissions. We incorporated this into our mission statement and, in 2019, created a sales-related CO₂ balance for the first time, which continues to guide our actions today.

SYNAXON's 3-step strategy

Simply covering up our CO₂ emissions through greenwashing is not something we're planning! And anyone who knows us knows that empty words don't suit us – especially not when it comes to such an important issue. So we've developed a three-step strategy to integrate sustainability into our day-to-day business.

In the third step, we offset the emissions we can't avoid. However, we don't simply buy our way out or support an organization with bloated bureaucracy or a history of negative publicity. We want someone who really makes a difference and whom we trust. After extensive, detailed research, we can say—and we have—long-term offsetting through tree planting by the companies. We are committed to greater sustainability

Climate-friendly shipping with Deutsche Post

With "GoGreen," Deutsche Post offers a climate-friendly shipping option that we are only too happy to use to further contribute to sustainability. The CO₂ emissions generated during transport are offset by investments in internationally recognized climate protection projects. GoGreen program is used for press products and advertising mailings such as Dialogpost, Postaktuell and Postwurfspezial.

Conducting an external energy audit

We want to know exactly! Therefore, in 2022, we commissioned an external auditor to assess our current energy consumption and identify opportunities for improvement in this area. The results of the energy audit at SYNAXON were carefully documented. We were able to gain some important insights, which we are gradually reviewing and incorporating into our sustainability strategy.
