Mark Schröder is a trained wholesale and foreign trade clerk and studied economics at Bielefeld University, specializing in controlling, finance, and taxes. After graduating with a degree in business administration in 2000, he joined SYNAXON in investor relations, supporting the company's capital market activities. After serving as overall commercial director from 2003 to 2007, Mark Schröder was appointed to the Executive Board in 2007 at the age of 34. Effective January 1, 2025, he assumed the role of CEO and has since been responsible for iTeam, SYNAXON Services, einsnulleins, finance, internal IT, and staff.
Mark Schröder is a member of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) Trade Committee and the Wirtschaftsjunioren Lippe e.V. (Junior Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and is available as a speaker on various topics related to everyday business life.
Miguel Rodriguez began his professional career with an apprenticeship as an IT systems manager and joined SYNAXON's sales department in 2003. From 2006 to 2009, he held his first team leader positions in sales and business development management, while also studying business administration at the ILS Hamburg. After working as deputy purchasing manager, he was appointed managing director of SYNAXON Projekt- und Handels GmbH in 2012, where he was responsible for centralized merchandise trading, the optimization of decentralized trading processes, and the marketing of SYNAXON's core services in the areas of knowledge, networking, and marketing. Effective January 1, 2025, Miguel Rodriguez was appointed to the SYNAXON Executive Board. In this role, he is responsible for the strategic development and operational management of purchasing, centralized merchandise trading, sales, and marketing. With his comprehensive expertise, he is shaping SYNAXON's future and securing its position as a leading IT group in Europe.
Frank Geise completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk and subsequently graduated with a degree in business administration (Diplom-Kaufmann (FH). In 2003, he joined SYNAXON as an assistant to the purchasing manager. Two years later, he assumed responsibility for SYNAXON's process management and for the introduction, implementation, and further development of the Six Sigma initiative. In this position, Frank Geise achieved certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt (2008) and a Lean Office Master (2012). Since 2015, Frank Geise has headed the Staff department, where he is responsible for Business Excellence, Human Resources, Legal Affairs, and Executive Board Assistance.
Jan Schwarzenberger worked as a project manager for strategy development, senior merchandiser, buyer, and purchasing manager nationally and internationally before joining SYNAXON in 2006 as Head of Purchasing and authorized signatory. The business graduate is responsible for achieving optimal prices and conditions for SYNAXON partners and their product range. He is responsible for listing and supporting distributors, manufacturer acquisition and negotiations, and all framework agreements. Since 2015, he has also been Managing Director of SYNAXON Projekt- und Handels GmbH, helping to shape SYNAXON's merchandise business.
After completing his training in tax and business consulting and a two-year advanced training course to become a tax specialist, Dirk Tomasch joined SYNAXON in 2001. His work as an accountant focused on preparing financial statements in accordance with national (commercial and tax law) and international accounting standards (IFRS). In 2007, Dirk Tomasch finally took over as head of the finance department and was granted power of attorney. In this position, he remains responsible for national and international accounting, all controlling, central settlement, accounting and insurance, financial statements, and all tax-relevant processes, as well as for managing the staff in his department.
André Vogtschmidt completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk and subsequently graduated with a degree in business administration. In 2000, he joined SYNAXON (then PC Spezialist Franchise AG) as a sales representative. Two years later, he assumed responsibility for marketing the microtrend brand as well as for the introduction, implementation, and further development of additional services. From 2004 to 2019, he led the marketing cooperation emendo as Managing Director. Since mid-2019, André Vogtschmidt has been responsible for the marketing department at SYNAXON.
After successfully completing his degree in computer science, Dirk Stößel initially worked as a software developer before earning his doctorate in applied computer science from Bielefeld University. In 2008, he joined SYNAXON as an IT project manager. In 2015, he took over as head of the IT department. Since 2018, he has been responsible for software development at SYNAXON and the operation of the company's in-house infrastructure as head of the IT department.
Markus Rex has been working in the IT industry since 1992. After studying materials science in Erlangen, he joined SYNAXON in the fall of 2020, serving as Managing Director at SUSE Linux, ownCloud, and Country Manager DACH at Datto. As Managing Director of SYNAXON Services GmbH, he is responsible for developing the SYNAXON Services division as a Master MSP. As a coach, advisor, and board member, Markus actively supports young companies and various startups.
After studying International Business Management, Nicole worked in various management positions in the IT industry for more than 20 years before joining SYNAXON in December 2023. Her focus was on partner programs, portfolio management, and go-to-market strategies.
At SYNAXON, Nicole is responsible for all aspects of the iTeam group. Together with her team, she ensures that the premium brand's performance and value proposition develops sustainably, offering our partners the greatest possible benefit from the IT entrepreneur network.
After successfully completing his studies in computer science and business administration at the University of Paderborn, Frank Weber gained experience as a project and technical manager before joining SYNAXON as CTO in 2003. In this role, he headed the company's IT department until 2018. In 2013, he became Managing Director of the SYNAXON subsidiary einsnulleins. As one of the Managing Directors at einsnulleins GmbH, he is primarily responsible for the nationwide corporate customer business, from acquisition and project coordination to employee scheduling.
