As announced last year, you will now receive important announcements, information and news about the area. Notifications in the Marketplace Dashboard.
Why we do this: We've received numerous messages from you indicating that important emails are getting lost in the sheer volume of emails you receive every day. Therefore, we want to significantly reduce the number of partner emails and will now consolidate all news in the Marketplace Dashboard. This way, you'll find updates right where you already work, noticeably reducing the clutter in your inbox.
Additionally, this reduces the risk of phishing: Important information is now centrally located in the dashboard instead of in your inbox. You're familiar with this principle from banks, where many notifications are also moved to online banking.
You decide how you want to be notified in the settings of the Marketplace dashboard. Choose between a daily summary via email or an email for each new notification. If you're already on the dashboard every day, you can even turn off email notifications completely.
Here's how to set it up:
- Open the Marketplace dashboard and go to "Notifications".
- Click on "Settings".
- Choose "Immediately", "Daily" or "Never".
- Click "Save" in the bottom right corner.
At the same time, we've also redesigned the look and feel of the notifications section. The view is now structured like a familiar email inbox: you'll see, for example, Inbox and Unread, and you can mark messages as important or save them. This makes it easier to organize relevant information and find it again later.
