Goal

This training series teaches you how to use Azure's hybrid capabilities, migrate virtual and physical server workloads to Azure IaaS, and manage and secure Azure VMs with Windows Server. The course also covers tasks related to high availability, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery.

Requirement

• Experience managing Windows Server operating systems and Windows Server workloads in local scenarios, including AD DS, DNS, DFS, Hyper-V, and file and storage services.
• Experience with common Windows Server administration tools (implied in the first requirement).
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft's core technologies in the areas of compute, storage, networking and virtualization (as included in the first requirement).
• Experience and understanding of key network technologies such as IP addressing, name resolution, and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)
• Experience with and understanding of Microsoft Hyper-V and basic concepts of server virtualization
• Awareness of basic best practices for safety
• Basic knowledge of security-relevant technologies (firewalls, encryption, multi-factor authentication, SIEM/SOAR).
• Basic knowledge of the failover reliability of Windows Server-based computing and storage technologies (failover clustering, storage spaces) on site.
• Basic experience with the implementation and management of IaaS services in Microsoft Azure
• Basic knowledge of Azure Active Directory
• Experience in practical work with Windows client operating systems such as Windows 10 or Windows 11
• Basic experience with Windows PowerShell

Procedure of the online training courses

		The described training consists of online sessions in which you can participate live. Since all sessions are conducted live, technical difficulties and therefore short-notice cancellations of individual training units may occur. Interruptions due to illness (trainer/moderator) are also possible. Should such an interruption occur, the training will be continued at a later date, which may lead to an extension of the training period. Please take this into account when planning your schedule.
		The online training comprises a total of at least 20 teaching units (TU). The duration of each teaching unit (TU) is approximately 45-60 minutes.
		A certificate of attendance is provided for each lesson. This serves as complete documentation of the acquired skills. Furthermore, you will receive a summary certificate upon completion of the training.
		All online training sessions are recorded and made available for download in .MP4 format for at least six months shortly after completion.
		The language of instruction is German. Accompanying teaching materials, presentations, and desktop views may also be displayed in English.
