Goal

After completing this online training, you will be able to plan and implement a functioning Information Security Management System (ISMS) within a company. You will receive valuable and practical tools to support you in maintaining an ISMS and eliminating vulnerabilities.

This training is aimed at IT baseline protection practitioners (BSI). It fulfills the qualification requirements of the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) and is a basic requirement for taking the examination to become a certified IT baseline protection practitioner. IT baseline protection consultant to register with the BSI and to take the personal certification to become an IT Baseline Protection Consultant (BSI).

Prior attendance at the ITKwebcollege.BSI | IT Baseline Protection Practitioner course or similar is recommended for this training.

Procedure of the online training courses

		Ingo Wolff Mr. Wolff has been working as a specialist and trainer in the field of data protection and data security since 1997, serving as Managing Director of tacticx GmbH. As a founding member of AUDEG – Deutsche Auditoren eG (German Auditors Cooperative), he has been involved in the supervisory board since 2017. Since 2019, Mr. Wolff has also been Managing Director of Pentest Factory GmbH. The tacticx Group's seminars train more than 500 internal and external data protection officers annually. With over 60 data protection audits per year, he and his team possess extensive practical knowledge from which you, too, can benefit. His core competencies include national and international data protection, data protection management, and the certification of Information Security Management (ISM) systems. 		The described training program consists of online sessions in which you can participate live. Since all sessions are conducted live, technical issues may occur, potentially leading to short-notice cancellations of individual training units. Training interruptions or postponements may also occur due to illness of those responsible (training facilitators, moderators). Should such an interruption occur, the training will be resumed at a later date, which may result in an extension of the training period. Please take this into account when planning your schedule.
		The online training comprises a total of 18 teaching units (TU). The duration of each teaching unit (TU) is 45-60 minutes.
		A certificate of attendance is provided for each lesson. This serves as complete documentation of the acquired skills. Furthermore, you will receive a summary certificate upon completion of the training.
		All online training sessions are recorded and made available for download in .MP4 format for at least six months shortly after completion.
		The language of instruction is German. Accompanying teaching materials, presentations, and desktop views may also be displayed in English.

Examination guidelines

The exam IT baseline protection consultant is offered exclusively by the BSI.
The costs of the certification process are governed by the Special Fee Ordinance of the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community for individually attributable public services within its area of responsibility (BMIBGebV). The costs of the initial certification process comprise the fees for the actual time spent and the expenses incurred and are calculated individually.
The costs will probably be in the range of +/- 700 EUR.
