Goal

The aim of this training series is to continuously develop your expertise as a data protection officer and to provide comprehensive documentation of your acquired competencies. To this end, the existing foundations for performing the duties of a data protection officer will be consolidated, supplemented with the expertise required by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and current knowledge of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) will be developed. Furthermore, your expertise will be expanded in the long term to include topics related to European and international data protection, enabling you to permanently assume the role of data protection officer for internationally operating companies.

Requirement

To participate in this training series, you should have basic knowledge of the Federal Data Protection Act and its application.

Procedure of the online training courses

		Stephan Hansen-Oest ist Rechtsanwalt & Fachanwalt für IT-Recht und Inhaber einer Kanzlei für Datenschutzrecht. Seit 25 Jahren beschäftigt er sich mit dem Datenschutzrecht und berät als Anwalt Unternehmen und öffentliche Stellen im Datenschutzrecht und dem Recht der IT-Sicherheit.
		Carola Sieling ist Spezialistin auf dem Gebiet des IT- und Internetrechts. Sie beherrscht nicht nur das Handwerkszeug einer Rechtsanwältin, sondern verfügt über ausgezeichnete technische Kenntnisse, die für eine rechtliche Beratung im IT-Recht unablässig sind. Ihre Schwerpunkte liegen im IT-Recht, Internetrecht, Wettbewerbsrecht, Markenrecht, Arbeitsrecht, Datenschutzrecht, Urheberrecht, Vertragsrecht und das Recht der Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen. In addition to her work as a specialist lawyer for information technology law, she is a lecturer at the Nordakademie and a data protection officer.
		Die beschriebene Ausbildung besteht aus 39 Online-Trainings, die Ihnen direkt zur Verfügung stehen.
		Die Dauer der Unterrichtseinheiten (UE) beträgt jeweils ca. 45 Minuten.
		Für jede Unterrichtseinheit wird eine Teilnahmebestätigung zur Verfügung gestellt. Mit dieser kann die erworbene Kompetenz lückenlos nachgewiesen werden. Diese Nachweise sind u.a. für die Erhaltung des Status DIN EN ISO/IEC 17024 zertifizierter Datenschutzbeauftragter (IQ-Zert, Global-Cert) anerkannt.
		Alle Online-Trainings stehen für mind. sechs Monate im .MP4 Format zum Download zur Verfügung gestellt.
