Goal

This online training course will provide you with the necessary knowledge to install and configure a Linux system. You will also learn how to perform maintenance tasks via the command line. Basic network configurations are also covered in this training.

Alongside practical knowledge, you will be introduced to the LPIC 1 Exam 101 prepared.

Requirement

Active participation in live events requires knowledge of data processing and experience at the administrative level.

Procedure of the online training courses

		The training described on the previous pages consists of online training courses that are directly accessible to you.
		The duration of the training sessions (lesson units (UE)) is approximately 45-60 minutes each.
		A certificate of attendance is provided for each individual lesson. This serves as complete documentation of the acquired competence. In addition, you will receive a summary certificate of attendance at the end of each completed training series.
		All online training courses are available for download in .MP4 format for at least six months.
		The language of instruction is German. Accompanying teaching materials, presentations, and desktop views may also be displayed in English.

Examination guidelines

The online training serves not only to impart practical knowledge but also to prepare you for the exam. Please note the following exam requirements.

To become LPIC-1 certified, the candidate must be able to do the following:

• understand the architecture of a Linux system;
• be able to install, maintain, and configure a Linux workstation, including X11, as a network client;
• be able to work on the Linux command line, including common GNU and Unix commands;
• be able to handle files and access permissions as well as system security; and
• Be able to perform simple maintenance tasks: helping users, adding users to a larger system, backup and recovery, shutdown and restart.
