Goal

Diese Online-Ausbildung erweitert Ihre Kenntnisse um die Konfiguration und den Betrieb von Basisdiensten für Unternehmensnetze wie DHCP, PAM und LDAP und liefert damit die Basis für den professionellen Einsatz von Linux in der Praxis. Ferner gibt der Kurs einen Einstieg in die Konfiguration von Linux als Server für andere Linux- und Unix-Systeme mit NFS und als Server in einer Windows-Umgebung mit Samba4.

Alongside practical knowledge, you will be introduced to the LPIC 2 Examen 202 prepared.

Requirement

Zur aktiven Liveteilnahme sollten Sie die Kurse aus LPI-Level 1 (101 und 102) und LPI-Level 2 (201) besucht haben, oder auf vergleichbare Kenntnisse zurückgreifen können.

Procedure of the online training courses

		The training described on the previous pages consists of online training courses that are directly accessible to you.
		The duration of the training sessions (lesson units (UE)) is approximately 45-60 minutes each.
		A certificate of attendance is provided for each individual lesson. This serves as complete documentation of the acquired competence. In addition, you will receive a summary certificate of attendance at the end of each completed training series.
		All online training courses are available for download in .MP4 format for at least six months.
		The language of instruction is German. Accompanying teaching materials, presentations, and desktop views may also be displayed in English.

Examination guidelines

The online training serves not only to impart practical knowledge but also to prepare you for the exam. Please note the following exam requirements.

To become LPIC-2 certified, the candidate must be able to do the following:

• Perform advanced system administration, including general tasks related to the Linux kernel, system startup, and maintenance;
• enhanced management of block storage and file systems, as well as enhanced network and authentication features and system security including firewall and VPN;
• Installation and configuration of basic network services, including DHCP, DNS, SSH, web server, file server via FTP, NFS and Samba, email delivery; and monitoring of assistants and advising management on automation and purchasing.
