Goal

The goal of this training is to enable participants to design, implement, and securely operate scalable, production-ready automation and AI systems at customer sites using n8n. Participants acquire practical skills in workflow development, AI agent integration, RAG system setup, and multi-agent architecture implementation. Particular emphasis is placed on stability, maintainability, and fault tolerance (error handling, debugging, logging). Another key focus is the implementation of security and compliance requirements in the context of AI systems, especially through the use of guardrails, controlled tool usage, and standardized integration approaches (e.g., MCP).

Upon completion of the training, participants are able to independently develop complex automation solutions, integrate them into existing system landscapes, and provide them as scalable, customer-ready services.

Alongside the practical knowledge you acquire, you will be prepared for certification. AI automation expert prepared by IHK Hellweg Sauerland GmbH, which you can optionally complete after the training.

Requirement

Thanks to the training recordings offered in addition to the live training, and the associated opportunity to review all training content multiple times, no in-depth prior knowledge is required for participation. The following qualifications are advantageous for active participation in the training:

		Robin Böhm is a software expert, author, consultant, and founder with many years of experience in modern web technologies and artificial intelligence. His professional focus is on the practical application of technologies such as JavaScript, Angular, and AI-powered systems and automation solutions. As early as his bachelor's thesis in 2012, he explored initial questions related to artificial intelligence. In 2013, he published the first German-language textbook on Angular and quickly established himself as an expert in modern web development. With the founding of Symetics (now Workshops.DE) in 2014, Mr. Böhm laid the foundation for his work as a trainer and consultant. In the following years, he developed, among other things, an AI-based prototype for the automated generation of learning content, as well as several successful conference formats, including NG-DE and the VueJS Conf, with a total of over 1,000 participants. In 2020, he founded Coding Bootcamps Europe GmbH, focusing on AZAV-funded IT training programs. Since 2023, his strategic focus has increasingly shifted to artificial intelligence, particularly the integration of AI into business processes. In 2024, he founded ai-automation-engineers.de to provide practical AI training. In his training sessions, Mr. Böhm teaches how companies and teams can use AI technologies to automate processes, increase efficiency, and create sustainable added value. His focus is deliberately on the practical application of existing technologies and not on the development of complex theoretical models. 		The described training program consists of online sessions in which you can participate live. Since all sessions are conducted live, technical issues may occur, potentially leading to short-notice cancellations of individual training units. Training interruptions or postponements may also occur due to illness of those responsible (training facilitators, moderators). Should such an interruption occur, the training will be resumed at a later date, which may result in an extension of the training period. Please take this into account when planning your schedule.
		The online training comprises a total of 30 teaching units (TU). The duration of each teaching unit (TU) is approximately 45-60 minutes.
		A certificate of attendance is provided for each lesson. This serves as complete documentation of the acquired skills. Furthermore, you will receive a summary certificate upon completion of the training. Optionally, the training can be completed with an online exam; passing this exam will earn you a title. 		All online training sessions are recorded and made available for download in .MP4 format for at least six months shortly after completion.
		The language of instruction is German. Accompanying teaching materials, presentations, and desktop views may also be displayed in English.

At the end of the online training, you have the option of taking an exam administered by the Hellweg-Sauerland Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) training institute. The exam is provided as an online test.
If successful, you will receive the certificate from the IHK-Bildungsinstitut Hellweg-Sauerland GmbH. AI Automation Expert (Chamber of Industry and Commerce).

The examination fee is €250.00 per exam. Retakes will cost €100.00 each.
