		Markus Strauss He has worked in IT for over 20 years and has been active as an external data protection officer for over 12 years. His core competencies lie in information security, alongside national and international data protection. In his training courses, you will receive, in addition to all the necessary theoretical foundations, numerous practical recommendations for the solution-oriented implementation of all data protection requirements. His training focuses on teaching the fundamentals of data protection law and their practical application.
		Thorsten Schröers He has been a lecturer for the Hellweg-Sauerland Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) training institute since 2001, teaching in the areas of data protection, IT security, and network technology. His core competencies include national and international data protection and data protection management (DPMS). In addition to conveying current data protection topics and the resulting fields of activity, he will also prepare you for the certification of Hellweg-Sauerland Chamber of Industry and Commerce Training Institute Preparing a GmbH (limited liability company).
		Carola Sieling She is a specialist in IT and internet law. She not only possesses the skills of a lawyer but also excellent technical knowledge, which is essential for providing legal advice in IT law. 		The described training program consists of online training sessions that you can participate in live and online training sessions that are available immediately. Since sessions are conducted live, technical problems and therefore short-term cancellations of individual training units may occur. Training interruptions or postponements due to illness of responsible personnel (training facilitators, moderators) are also possible. Should such an interruption occur, the training will be continued at a later date, which may lead to an extension of the training period. Please take this into account when planning your schedule.
		The online training comprises a total of 42 teaching units (TU). Each lesson (UE) lasts approximately 45-60 minutes, plus a discussion round. The discussion is always displayed via chat at the end of each training session. During live training sessions, you have the opportunity to actively ask questions.
		A certificate of competence is provided for each teaching unit. This certificate allows for complete documentation of the acquired competence. Furthermore, you will receive a summary certificate upon completion of the training.
		All online training sessions are recorded and made available for download in .MP4 format for at least six months shortly after completion.
		The language of instruction is German. Accompanying teaching materials, presentations, and desktop views may also be displayed in English.

Examination guidelines

The activation of the monthly advanced training courses (12 courses per year, held monthly) is scheduled for 2025. It ends on December 31, 2025. The subscription will automatically renew for another year from 1 January 2026 at a price of EUR 289.00 plus VAT, unless the subscription is cancelled in writing three months before the end of the term (by 30 September of the respective year).
All services are billed upon booking the training and apply exclusively to the registered customer. Transferring the services to third parties is not permitted.
