It covers the legally compliant planning, execution, evaluation, reporting, and follow-up of audits and enables you to conduct efficient and effective audits that contribute to the continuous improvement of a quality management system.

As an auditor, you will review specific areas such as technical and organizational measures, relevant contracts, and internal guidelines. Furthermore, you will actively support the implementation of new data protection concepts, assist in creating necessary documentation, and monitor the implementation of improvement measures. Another important task is conducting training sessions to raise employee awareness of data protection issues. Through these diverse activities, as a data protection auditor, you will make a significant contribution to continuously ensuring and improving a company's data protection compliance.

Requirement

Due to the use of training recordings offered in addition to live training, and the associated possibility of working through all training content multiple times, no special prior knowledge is required.
For active participation in the live training for internal and external data protection officers, knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) is advantageous. Prior training for internal and external data protection officers is recommended for the live training for data protection auditors.

		Markus Strauss Markus Strauss has worked in IT for over 25 years and has been active as an external data protection officer for over 15 years. His core competencies, in addition to national and international data protection, also include information security, business continuity, and secure software development. In his training courses, you will receive, alongside all the necessary theoretical basics, many practical recommendations for action on the solution-oriented implementation of all data protection requirements. His training focuses on teaching the fundamentals of data protection law and their practical application.
		The online training comprises a total of 42 teaching units (TU), each lasting approximately 45 minutes. This is supplemented by follow-up work after the training sessions, preparation for the exam, and the final exam itself. To successfully complete the training and earn the title... 		A certificate of attendance is provided for each lesson. This serves as complete documentation of the acquired skills. Optionally, an online exam can be taken at the IHK Hellweg Sauerland GmbH; passing this exam will grant you the title. 		All online training sessions are recorded and made available for download in .MP4 format for at least six months shortly after completion.
		The language of instruction is German. Accompanying teaching materials, presentations, and desktop views may also be displayed in English.

Examination guidelines

The exam Company and external data protection officer and data protection auditor (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) ^(m/f/d) An optional online exam is offered at the end of the training; passing it will earn you the title of the same name. It consists of 30 multiple-choice questions that must be answered within a maximum of 60 minutes.
The cost is €250.00 per exam (retakes are also charged at €250.00). The exam can be booked directly for each participant alongside the training by selecting the "Optional Service" option.
