Goal

This online training expands your knowledge to include the configuration and operation of basic services for corporate networks such as DHCP, PAM, and LDAP, thus providing the foundation for the professional use of Linux in practice. Furthermore, the course offers an introduction to configuring Linux as a server for other Linux and Unix systems using NFS and as a server in a Windows environment with Samba4. Alongside the practical knowledge, you will also be introduced to... LPIC 2 exam 202 prepared.

Requirement

To actively participate live, you should have attended the courses from LPI Level 1 (101 and 102) and LPI Level 2 (201), or be able to draw on comparable knowledge.

Procedure of the online training courses

		The training described on the previous pages consists of online training courses that are directly accessible to you.
		The duration of the training sessions (lesson units (UE)) is approximately 45-60 minutes each.
		A certificate of attendance is provided for each individual lesson. This serves as complete documentation of the acquired competence. In addition, you will receive a summary certificate of attendance at the end of each completed training series.
		All online training courses are available for download in .MP4 format for at least six months.
		The language of instruction is German. Accompanying teaching materials, presentations, and desktop views may also be displayed in English.

Examination guidelines

The online training serves not only to impart practical knowledge but also to prepare you for the exam. Please note the following exam requirements.

To become LPIC-2 certified, the candidate must be able to do the following:

• Perform advanced system administration, including general tasks related to the Linux kernel, system startup, and maintenance;
• enhanced management of block storage and file systems, as well as enhanced network and authentication features and system security including firewall and VPN;
• Installation and configuration of basic network services, including DHCP, DNS, SSH, web server, file server via FTP, NFS and Samba, email delivery; and monitoring of assistants and advising management on automation and purchasing.
