Goal

In this workshop, you will learn all the necessary knowledge to set up an SME company network with one location and one AD domain using a test environment.

You will start by installing Hyper-V on a pre-installed Windows Server 2019/2022 and then build a complete network environment consisting of multiple servers and services such as an ADDS domain, DNS, DHCP, file servers, etc.

Comprehensive exercises optimally prepare you for applying the learning content in practice. Furthermore, potential errors are addressed and possible solutions are presented.

Requirement

• Experience in supporting client computers under Windows
• Basic principles of IP addressing and the importance of the DHCP server for assigning IP addresses to client computers (advantageous)
