IT security in focus: NIS2
The new legislation on the NIS2 directive comprehensively strengthens IT security, but brings with it changed regulations and rules for companies.
What is NIS2?
The goal of NIS2 is to significantly strengthen the resilience of companies against cyberattacks. Affected companies are obligated to implement specific security measures, and the regulations regarding the reporting of cyber incidents have also changed. The Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) monitors compliance with these requirements. In Germany, approximately 30,000 companies are expected to be affected by the NIS2 directive.*
