You and your customers deserve the best possible protection. To increase the security of your subscribed solutions and prevent system compromises, we are gradually securing all access to our managed services products with two-factor authentication (2FA). This has been mandatory for our SYNAXON Monitoring & Management for some time now. It is currently optional for SYNAXON Managed Backup, as well as for our SYNAXON Endpoint Protection.
The security risk in Germany and worldwide continues to rise. We have therefore decided to introduce mandatory two-factor authentication (2FA) for all our products.
What do you need to do now?
If we activate this security feature, you will be prompted to configure your 2FA credentials the next time you log in. You will need a 2FA app on your smartphone for this. We are striving for the broadest possible compatibility with common 2FA apps (e.g., Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy). Please also inform your colleagues – this change will affect all user accounts.
