We have good news! You can now link customers to products directly in the SYNAXON Marketplace. – the detour via EGIS is no longer necessary. This saves time and makes the process much more intuitive, as you no longer have to switch back and forth between two systems.

 

Why linking is important

Linking customers and products is the foundation for key functions such as the product matrix, customer reports, widgets, and billing. For these to function smoothly, the system needs to know which customer in your SYNAXON customer database corresponds to the relevant entry in the manufacturer's dashboard. Since there's no unique identifier like a customer number there, we rely on the primary system – your SYNAXON customer record.

 

Automatic or manual

If you activate products or licenses directly for a customer via the Marketplace in the future, we will automatically handle the linking. However, if a customer is first created in the manufacturer dashboard, you must manually create the link in the Marketplace.
