Handling sensitive customer data

We know that end-customer data is always sensitive. Handling this data responsibly is particularly important to us as the SYNAXON Services team.

In many cases, it is not necessary to provide personal data when using our products. For support inquiries, we only need a specific identifier/ID to identify the device or user. However, for some of our products, providing certain data is essential to ensure full functionality and performance. This is the case, for example, with our Customer billing.

We use this data exclusively for the provision of services and do not pass it on to third parties without explicit consent (including within SYNAXON AG and its subsidiaries!).

To ensure you're on the safe side (with regard to GDPR), we've provided a template for a data processing agreement (DPA) on our information page. You can have new customers sign this once or use it to update existing DPAs for current customers.
