New NAS agent and other news
Many of you have been waiting for this: NAS Agent support for DSM 7.x. .
You can now roll out the automated “Backup for Synology NAS” function on Synology devices with operating system version DSM 7.x.
What else is new?
- Synology Agent: Support for DSM 7.x: Our Synology Backup Agent is now compatible with DSM 7.x.
- Geo-redundant cloud storage: The manufacturer has further improved its cloud infrastructure to ensure your backups are protected against regional disasters and storage loss. This feature will be available from Q1/2024.
- Security for Microsoft 365 collaboration apps: Security features for Microsoft 365 collaboration apps have been enhanced to better protect business-critical data. This allows you to scan all uploaded and modified files in M365 OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams for content-based cyberattacks.
- HIPAA compliance for Advanced Disaster Recovery – You can now sell Acronis Advanced Disaster Recovery to healthcare organizations that work with Protected Health Information (PHI).
The new Advanced Automation Pack is particularly noteworthy.Advanced Automation enables MSPs to, to automate everyday processes and operational efficiency through Service desk, time tracking, billing, contract management, Analytics and reporting tools to improve. Advanced Automation can also be natively integrated into Acronis and with third-party services.
