It is possible to transfer emails from an existing archive mailbox to another mailbox.
For this to work, administrative archive access must be enabled under “Administration – Compliance”. With this setting enabled, user archives will be displayed in the top left corner under “Other Archives”. The subfolders are named “Archive of "and can be opened further. To empty the archive, all folders must be moved out of the archive.".
In the case of former employees, it is recommended to create a separate user account and store the folders there.
Only when the archive contains no emails and the Mailstore user has been deleted, will the archive be dissolved and disappear from the overview.
