April 13, 2022 News: A 7-day renewal window is now in effect.
Dear partner,
Microsoft has changed the rules: From now on, you can modify or cancel an NCE subscription within seven days (previously three). The following information is important to know:
- Microsoft locks the subscription for any changes during the actual renewal process. It can take several hours for Microsoft to renew monthly NCE subscriptions. (Annual NCE renewals will not be available until 2023.)
- No changes can be made during the renewal process.
- After the Microsoft NCE subscription is renewed, a 7-day window opens for changes, including cancellation, license reduction, and license increase.
Example:
- NCE (monthly) was ordered on 10.03.22.
- The renewal process by Microsoft begins on April 9, 2022 (and is expected to last all day).
- The change window is open from April 10th, 2022 to April 16th, 2022.
