Incorrect network – restart the service
The Windows NLA service (Network Location Awareness / NlaSvc) provides network information to manage network sharing. Network shares in domain networks can experience problems if the device is not immediately connected to the domain network after a restart. In this case, restarting the NLA service is necessary.
A new check is available that first determines which network the device is on. If it's not the domain network, the service is restarted. This check can be added to the device as a 24/7 check so that it runs within short clock cycles.
As usual, we have posted the information about the exam on sms-info.synaxon.de published.
Many thanks to Juri Steinhauer and Lasse Fenner from www.edvneumann.de for the impetus for the script and the beta test.
