Update Securepoint VPN Client via task
Every task that can be automated increases the margin on your managed services. We are therefore pleased to unlock another task for you today that will help you reduce your manual workload: Script: Securepoint VPN Client Update
A new task has been added that allows you to conveniently update the Securepoint VPN Client via the SYNAXON Management & Monitoring dashboard. This task downloads the latest version of the Securepoint VPN Client from GitHub and installs it automatically in the background. Of course, this task can also be used for new installations, not just updates.
The task is simply added to the desired device and executed manually or automatically on a recurring basis. If the Securepoint VPN Client is running during the update, it will be closed, the update applied, and then restarted with the existing configuration. No settings need to be configured within the task itself.
