Script verification for Windows 11 compatibility
With the introduction of Windows 11, Microsoft is introducing new minimum system requirements. These requirements focus not so much on system performance, but rather on hardware support. The following minimum requirements are being checked:
- 64 GB storage capacity of the main hard drive
- 4GB RAM
- TMP 2.0 (minimum compatibility)
- 64-bit CPU architecture
- 1 GHz processor clock speed
- 2 CPU cores
- SecureBoot
- ESET version (if installed)
- Possibly MAV
To give you an overview, we provide a script review. The script is called "„Test: Windows 11 compatibility“and is added to the devices as a TSÜ (Daily Security Check). If an alert is not desired, this can be disabled when setting up the check using the command line „Silent“" or "„Quiet“The alarm will be deactivated.”.
The evaluation also takes into account the program versions of "Managed Antivirus" and Managed Endpoint Protection (https://www.edvneumann.de/Managed Endpoint Protection). If an immediate upgrade to Windows 11 is desired, we recommend using the latest version of ESET, as it is already classified as compatible.
Many thanks to Frank Neumann for the successful beta test.
