Every year, in our survey for the creation of the SYNAXON IT Service Price Index, we ask the following question: What entrepreneurial challenges do you foresee for your company in the next three years?
That the top answer was "skills shortage" probably surprised none of us. However, the other answers were interesting:
- The increasing complexity of IT solutions ranks second. This problem has gained momentum in the past 12 months. In 2022, 24.5 million respondents gave this answer, while in 2023, the figure was 42.7 million.
- The increasing burden of more complex administrative tasks ranks fourth and appears to be a growing challenge. Last year, 11.8% of respondents cited this problem; in 2023, this figure rose to 35.2%.
- The restructuring of the business model was mentioned by 24.7% of respondents in 2022; in 2023 this figure rose to 33.2%, placing it in 5th position.
