Which product is being updated?
We are pleased to announce that the upcoming release of Patch Management Engine (PME) v2.3.x is planned, provided the quality tests are passed. This version of the PME includes a number of improvements and bug fixes, the most important of which are listed below.
What improvements have been made?
- Ensure that the installation date of an application is not supplemented by the release date if the application does not log an installation date.
- Allows PME for RMM to treat selected patches as manual approval only.
- Update the file lastpatchscan.xml to include the applicationid
- Improved logging of "CU - Certificate verification failed, untrusted file" with indication of the reasons for the failure.
What do i have to do?
You don't need to do anything else. We'll ensure the update is installed on all clients. Please note that the manufacturer hasn't yet announced a specific update date, and we will release the update at intervals thereafter.
