Updates for the EMA and Protect portals
We are pleased to announce that a new service release for the EMA (ESET MSP Administrator) has been released. It includes both bug fixes and improvements.
The most important points about the EMA summarized:
- Customers can be completely deleted.
- Customer setup and license booking have been visually improved.
- Product changes have been simplified
- Lists of licenses and end devices can now be exported.
PROTECT V9 was released as part of the license portal update. Maintenance will be carried out on November 19, 2021, between 8:00 and 10:00 AM. ESET Protect will have limited availability during this time. Device security will not be affected.
The following changes have been introduced:
- New dashboard for ESET Dynamic Threat Defense (EDTD)
- Automatic updates security products (from Endpoint version 9.0 onwards)
- Direct preview for computers and recognition
- Brute-force attack protection
Furthermore, the following improvements and bug fixes have been implemented:
- System update management for Android devices
- Windows builds are provided as separate information (e.g., for group filters).
- 2FA can be saved for the local device.
- A new version of the LogCollector is included in the agent.
- Customer setup no longer fails if write permissions to the CA certificate are missing.

Update: Maintenance was successfully completed. ESET Protect is available as usual. Currently, you may encounter error messages during initial setup. If this happens, please skip the setup and use the "Download installer" option. We are working on a solution to make the initial setup option available again.
