What happened?
A few months ago, you informed us that there were severe performance issues in the "Protect" configuration portal. These problems sometimes led to a complete shutdown, as even logging in resulted in a timeout.
What is the current status?
Since our latest information We've performed several maintenance updates on this topic to improve stability and performance. We've received feedback from many of you that, with a few exceptions, you've been able to work quite well with ESET Protect again for the past few weeks.
What other measures are being taken?
We remain in regular contact with ESET to implement further improvements and fully resolve the original issue. The manufacturer informed us in recent days that they will release a new software update "relatively soon." They are confident that this update will fix the underlying system bug. We will inform you as soon as we have more information.
